Microcopy is surprising. It’s writing a short word or sentence in a “technical and boring” form or user interface
that you know will surely bring at least half a smile to the person who reads it. Examples of good microcopy can be found in product instructions, buttons in the app, error messages and website uploads, or even when sending an email.
